A wondrous way to broaden youngsters’ imaginative horizons..
How can a Korean magician create a replica “you“? What does a Chinese magician conjure up through his drawings? Can a Japanese magician actually turn a Jizo bodhisattva statue into a real person? In fact, why should so many children’s stories from different parts of the world focus on wizardry? Time to look for an answer in The Book of Magic!
In this joint presentation by Hong Kong and Korean artists, puppetry and music are combined with creative theatrical staging to tell three well-known supernatural tales from Korea, China and Japan in one absorbing performance.
