In this module, kids can explore the beauty of machines and science fantasy by creating motion in 2D images, machinery collage and an assemblage robot.
- Assemblage and attaching techniques
- Create an assemblage sculpture from found objects
- Materials: Cardboard, found objects of all sorts i.e. boxes, plastic containers, wire, string and acrylic paint
- Outcome: Painted assemblage on cardboard
- Referencing costumes by Fortunato Depero for his ballet "Machine of 3000" (1924)
