Reading enrich knowledge, developing reading habit for children can help their ability of understanding and concentration in long run.
Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre is launching a series of fun activities related to reading. Through storytelling, art performances, workshops and book exchange, to build children’s reading habit and also bring happy and fun weekends to families!

- Saturdays: 4 & 25 Aug,15 & 29 Sept, 6 & 27 Oct, 10 & 24 Nov, 8,22 & 29 Dec
- Sundays: 22 Jul, 5 & 26 Aug,16 & 30 Sept, 7 & 28 Oct, 11 & 25 Nov, 9,23 & 30 Dec
Event on Saturday
1) Fun workshop
- Shopper who spend HK$100 or above via electronic payment at Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre (Maximum of 2 on-day valid machine-printed receipts) are eligible to join the workshop.
- Redemption time: 12:45pm to 4pm
- Redemption location: Atrium at 5/F
- (A total quantity of 200 sets are available and will be given away on a first-come-first-served basis.)
Event on Sunday
1) 3-hour storytelling event – 1pm to 4pm (Art performance + storytelling + workshop)
- Shoppers who spend HK$300 or above via electronic payment at Tsz Wan Shan Shopping Centre (Maximum of 2 valid machine-printed receipts) are eligible to join the event.
- Purchase and Redemption period: 1 week prior to event day (for example purchase and redemption period is 16/7 to 22/7 for the event dated 22/7)
- Redemption time: Monday to Saturday: 10am to 8pm; Sunday: 10am to 1pm
- Redemption location: Customer Service Counter at 3/F
- (A total quantity of 50 sets are available and will be given away on a first-come-first-served basis.)
2) Face painting – 12noon to 4pm

1) Book Exchange and Reading Day
- Free of charge
- Book exchange corner is available, you can bring books for exchange
- Donate books that you don’t need
- With a reading corner, children are welcome to read the books
- Each person can donate and exchange up to 3 books
Books acceptance criteria:
- They accept: Books are 70% new or above; the book price is not less than $30; and there are no page missing, drawing, fading or creases.
- They do not accept: comic books, romance novels, textbooks, technical reference books, travel guides, dictionaries, magazines/journals, books in simplified Chinese, books related to religions e.g. Bibles, Buddhist scriptures, and books that are not resaleable.
