Art & Sensory Play (3-6 years old)

Different art and sensory stimulation activities help build children’s confidence and cognitive development.

Children connect with nature by discovering animals and the natural environment at Ocean Park. Different sensory stimulation activities help build their confidence and cognitive development. Through art activities, children are encouraged to make use of what they have learnt and express their thoughts, while developing their fine motor skills. Once a month, a messy play activity is held where children can freely enhance their sensory experience and improve their hand-eye coordination.

Features

  • Enhance Cognitive Development: A variety of sensory activities aid children’ cognitive development.
  • Build Confidence: Encourages them to step out of their comfort zone and build their confidence.
  • Consolidate Learning: Art activities help children make use of what they have learnt during their nature exploration and demonstrate their learning creatively by making art.
  • Reinforce Cooperation Skills: Strengthen children’s communication skills and interpersonal skills through their interaction and collaboration with other classmates.

Record Your Child’s Learning

Each month’s programme is based on a different theme to offer children a new, diverse experience. To let parents know more about the exciting content that their child has gone through in class, the programme highlights will be logged into a monthly journal. Children who join classes for 3 consecutive months with an 80% attendance will receive a certificate issued by Ocean Park as well as a personal learning folder that showcases their achievements.
