Meet the Capybara & Tamarin



Now, you'll have a chance to meet the capybara, the largest rodent in the world, and nature's "agile stuntman", the tamarin!

 

Try your hand as an animal keeper and prepare a delicious feast to feed these animal friends. You can also enjoy an exclusive talk about capybara and tamarin husbandry and care!

Smart Tips

  • Participants are advised to wear sports shoes and pants.
  • Participants will not have any physical interaction with the animals.
  • All forms of photography or videography and the use of mobile devices are not permitted during the programme.

Time

  • Programme starts from 14 July 2018 onwards
  • 3:15pm - 4:00pm (Available daily, except Thursdays; pre-booking and onsite enrolment is available)

Application Methods and Deadlines

  • Apply Online: Minimum 2 days’ advance booking (online application, online application for Smartfun Members)
  • Apply In-person at Ocean Park Ticketing Office, Main Entrance: Minimum 1 day’s advance booking before 5pm
  • On-site Application: Subject to availability at the time of application. Apply in person at Waterfront Gifts, Ricky’s Shack, Shutters, Rainforest Gift Shop and The Lodge 60 minutes before programme schedule.

How to get there?

  • By bus (both local and cross-boundary buses are available). Just get off the bus after going through the Aberdeen Tunnel and it's a short walk to the Park
  • The Citybus Route 629 runs daily from Central Star Ferry (every 20-60min)
  • By MTR: Ocean Park Station on South Island Line
  • By car or coach (parking facilities available)
