Children will communicate and express their creativity through imitating sounds, body language, and simple vocabulary.
Having great communication skills are one of the most essential skillsets of every individual. Young Explorers Club believes that it is also crucial and beneficial to start establishing the bonding with nature at the early stage, as early as below 3 years old. As a result, Ocean Park and Oxford University Press is introducing the new “Nature Exploration with Oxford Path” programme. Native English speaking instructors trained by Oxford University Press will guide children between 1.5 to 2-years-old to have nature exploration in English speaking environment and fun-filled literature from Oxford Path. This programme helps children develop an interest in reading as well as cultivate their passion in learning and also nature. Participating in the monthly themed activities and listening to the relevant Oxford Path stories which carry a lot of life education elements, children will have a personalised experience and further enhance their confidence, ability to express and self-care as well as fostering the development of positive attitudes and values by building on progressive learning experiences with real life examples.
Features
- Build Confidence in communicating in an English speaking environment: The programme combines nature exploration and the unique experience of an Oxford Path story. The programme will enhance the curiosity and confidence to communicate in an English speaking environment. At the same time, they will begin to grow their self-assurance and independence throughout the programme.
- Uplifting Creative Expression Skills:Instructors will take children into the imaginative world of an Oxford Path story, where they will enrich the story content through imitating sounds, body language and simple vocabulary, enhancing their ability for self-expression.
- Cultivate a passion to learn: The well-facilitated self-exploration journey will begin to cultivate children’s passion for learning and self-discovery as they grow.

This will enhance their awareness of self-care and their communication skills with others, as an important step for social skill development.
Record Your Child’s Learning
Each month’s programme is based on a different theme to offer children a new, diverse experience. To let parents know more about the exciting content that their child has been learning in class, the programme highlights will be logged into a monthly journal. Children who join classes for 3 consecutive months and have an 80% attendance rate will also receive a certificate issued by Ocean Park and Oxford University Press as well as a personal learning folder that showcases their achievements.
