Great Taste with Food Waste!

While everyone is happily celebrating for the big festival, the wastage problem seems to be neglected and overshadowed by joy. Actually, enjoying the festivity does not necessarily have to be followed by countless garbage and food waste. In the upcoming Go Cup x PMQ Christmas Zero Mart, PMQ Taste Library is partnering with Food Grace to present "Cook-munication: Waste Less X'mas Co-creating Workshop", to encourage everyone to be creative and be aware of the severe food waste crisis. Starting from this Christmas, let's strive to celebrate with less waste!

Food Grace gleans edible food from sources such as wet markets and supermarket everyday, and distribute them to those who are in need. Under this special collaboration, participants are encouraged to be creative and to transform raw ingredients that would otherwise go to waste into delicious meals for public awareness. If you are into cooking while support producing minimal waste in your daily lives, please join us and co-create a Waste-Less X'mas!

Also, volunteers from Food Grace will host a cooking demonstration and sharing session on December 24, 2:00-3:30pm. Participants will have a chance to understand the daily duties of the volunteers and their perspective on food waste. Of course, they will show us some nutritious dishes, which they usually make at their central kitchen. Please come and support us on Christmas Eve!
