When a real Gruffalo shows up, what will he do?
Walking through the woods a mouse encounters several dangerous animals including a fox, an owl and a snake. The cunning mouse invents stories of the Gruffalo in order to scare other animals away from eating him.
The Gruffalo was one of the best-selling picture books in UK, and won several children literature awards. Throughout the course, children will be able to develop their confidence, expression and interpersonal skills. From the story, children will also learn that fear is normal, but wit can overcome fear and make us strong.
A short in-class presentation will be held in the last lesson of the course, in which family and friends can share the wonderful learning outcomes of the participants
