11 Years of Making a Difference

kidsFIRST Medical Center was founded in 2006, the same year that the UAE introduced Federal Law No. 29. With their establishment, both kidsFIRST Medical Center and the UAE government formalized an inclusive vision for children with learning difficulties and special needs throughout the UAE.

Since then, kidsFIRST’s multi-disciplinary team of international pediatric health professionals has worked with infants and children of all ages to ensure their academic, physical, and emotional growth.

Over the past eleven years, kidsFIRST has grown substantially as parents and educators experience kidsFIRST commitment to evidence-based services, and therapists thrive in its supportive, flexible, and collegial work environment.

At kidsFIRST, being child-centered is more than an attempt to use the latest trendy terminology. It is the core of approach. kidsFIRST is interested in developing the whole child – emotionally, physically, and mentally.

Qualified to work with any child, each of kidsFIRST's professionals has been additionally trained according to their particular passion. Handwriting, feeding, adoption, alternative communication, sensory integration, and play therapy are merely a few examples.

The kidsFIRST team serves children across the full range of needs, such as Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome, ADD, ADHD, Auditory Processing Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Dysphagia, Dyspraxia, Dyslexia, and Early Language Delays
