Discovery Camps have partnered up with educational experts such as Lorna Whiston Schools from here in Singapore, Collegewise from the U.S. and BSD code + design academy from HK to offer the best tried and tested curriculum. You can be sure your kids will have fun as well as improve academically through the holidays. English Explorers by Lorna Whiston Schools, Ages 3 to 8

English Explorers focuses on nurturing and developing children’s speaking, listening, reading and writing skills to ensure they stay ahead during school holidays.

Actor’s Studio by Lorna Whiston Schools, Ages 6 to 12

Build confidence in public speaking through Drama. Promising thespians are taught to think, explore, sense and experience through the dynamic medium of creative drama

Code Academy by BSD code + design academy, Ages 6 to 12

Learning to code for games helps kids grasp fundamental programming concepts. They will get to know how to work with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the technology that powers over 90% of online applications.

LEGO® Robotics L1, Ages 6 to 12 / LEGO® WeDo 2.0 Robotics, 6-8 yo

Lego® Robotics camp is designed to encourage critical thinking and expose kids to various Science topics such as life, physical, earth, space sciences, as well as engineering. Throughout the camp week students learn how to build WeDo robot models. One of the many robot models is a frog so students learn at the same time about stages of an amphibian’s life cycle and different frog species across the world!

Learning robotics encourages critical thinking and exposes kids to science, engineering and maths as well as an understanding of how these subjects link together. In LEGO® Robotics kids have an immersive and hands-on learning experience brainstorming, building and experimenting as they programme and bring their robot to life.

LEGO® Mindstorms EV3 Robotics Level 1, 9-12 yo

Students progress through the week learning how to build an autonomous robot that can respond to its surroundings using various sensors.

LEGO® Mindstorms EV3 Robotics Level 2, Ages 9 to 12

Students will have the opportunity to build up the skills they picked up in the Level 1 course to enable them to solve more challenging missions. These new skills involve higher order thinking and focuses its attention on application. At the end of this course, students will have learnt how to send an autonomous robot through a challenging mission where sensors and the programming AI will help it navigate and return to base.
