ArtScience Museum invites you to experience an immersive and interactive exhibition based on stunning content from Our Planet, a new Netflix original documentary series, created in partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).
Our Planet is an eight-part documentary series from the team behind Blue Planet and Planet Earth, set to be released on 5 April 2019. Filmed over four years in 50 different countries, Our Planet is narrated by Emmy and BAFTA winner, Sir David Attenborough, and features jaw-dropping nature stories that are grounded in the best science, highlighting the most pressing challenges facing nature today. According to Attenborough, “Our Planet will take viewers on a spectacular journey of discovery showcasing the beauty and fragility of our natural world.”
Rewild Our Planet uses cutting edge technology to transport you into the landscapes featured in this ambitious documentary. At the exhibition at ArtScience Museum, you'll dive into the deepest oceans, visit the most remote forests and take a journey over vast ice caps. Blending stunning IMAX style projections with spatial soundscapes and a soundtrack narrated by David Attenborough, Rewild Our Planet puts you at the heart of the natural world and invites you to play an active role in conservation.
This is Singapore's first Augmented Reality social experience which allows multiple visitors to interact with digitally-created environments, whilst examining how climate change impacts all living creatures.
Rewild Our Planet shows how you can make a difference to nature. We’re losing nature at an unprecedented rate. Animal and plant species are disappearing at an alarming rate. The health of our forests, oceans and fresh water are all at risk. Nature is vital to our very existence and our future. Our homes, our health, the food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink — our lives and all the things we care about — simply can’t exist in a world without nature. Rewild Our Planet shows you how we can work together to build a better future for our planet.
The project is created by the digital studio Phoria, working with WWF, Google, Netflix and ArtScience Museum, using footage developed by Silverback Productions.
After it opens at ArtScience Museum it will tour, encouraging visitors around the world to rewild our planet.
