Stop Motion with LEGO @ Artz Graine Art Studio

In this intensive 2-hour workshop, learn how to produce stop motion animation taking inspiration from popular movies.

Participants will explore the basics of stop motion animation which include setting up the scene, characters and props. Participants will learn how to shoot their own stop motion films using iPad or DSLR camera and then assemble them into movie clips.

Beginners are welcome. No experience is needed.

Trainer: Ron Low

Ron has more than 10 years of experience working in digital art, TV animation and games. He has worked in some of the biggest animation and games companies in Singapore, including Lucasfilm Singapore and Bandai Namco Singapore. He also produces commissioned artwork using LEGO bricks.

Materials for the class are provided. Participants are to bring their own iPad or iPhone, with permission from their parents to install the necessary app. Please ensure your electronic devices are fully charged. Bring along a powerbank if necessary.
