BooksActually presents VivoCity Book Pop Up + Meet The Author Sessions!
As part of BuySingLit, BooksActually will be bringing favourite local literature titles closer to you.
This is for the people who (unfortunately) can't make it to BooksActually at BuySingLit, or those who can but are yearning for more. One may also see it as a pre-Buy SingLit gathering.
Meet the authors
- 10 March, 12pm - Lin Xueling, author of The Island In The Caldera
Join Lin as she brings the characters of the strange lands of Caldera to life. Known for her animated and educational storytelling sessions, Lin will also bring your child through the wisdom and beauty of Asian history and mythology.
A colouring activity will also be available on the spot.

Here comes the charming characters of the Saurus Series picture books! If you're in need of a breather on a Saturday afternoon, you're in great company. Join Horrorsaurus, Grandsaurus, Sleepysaurus, Artysaurus and more on a wonderful adventure.
A colouring activity will also be available on the spot.
- 11 March, 11am - Rosemarie Somaiah, author of The Never Mind Girl and Other Stories
An intimate storytelling featuring tales of friendship, family and education. The Never Mind Girl and Other Stories is a collection of 15 short stories written in a contemporary style, depicting realistic and actual scenarios and situations that most young adult females go through in Singapore during their secondary school years in an all girls’ school.
