Designed to stimulate the interest of the young and inculcate in them an appreciation of the forests!
The one-day camp is a programme by National Parks Board and Mitsubishi Corporation, which aims to develop and increase a child's appreciation for nature and natural heritage.
The camp encompasses fun, educational learning opportunities in a forest environment.
There will be nature walks, games with nature themes, indoor learning opportunities together with hands-on activities that children can participate in and enjoy.
It also aims to nurture young minds in active protection and conservation of natural heritage.
- Suitable for: Children aged between 7 to 10 (Primary 1 to 4)
- Time: 9am to 3pm (registration begins at 8.30am, parents to pick their children up at 3pm)
- Cost: $25 per child (includes packed lunch and all craft materials)
- Venue: Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
