This 4-hour workshop is a combination of the most well-received workshops from Respectful Parenting Workshop Series - Embracing Toddlerhood and Finding Compassion.
This workshop aims to support parents/caregivers of toddlers and is suitable for parents of children from 18 months to 5 years old.
Workshop Description
- Part I
Any parent who has a toddler knows that toddlerhood can be a whirlwind of explosive and ever-changing emotions, and can be a challenging time for parents and other caregivers.
In this workshop, you'll find out how you can power through the storm and be the calm, confident parent your child needs.
- Part II: Finding Compassion
Parenting is tough, and is not carried out in a vacuum. They believe that parenting can be that much easier if we are able to find compassion and empathy for ourselves, partners and children.
Inspired by the work of Dr Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication, this workshop aims to equip you with some tools for self-empathy and self-compassion by checking in with feelings and needs, whilst also having empathy for others.
