As world changes, more and more parents are putting more thought into what it takes to raise a resilient child.

Many parents may consider that raising resilient children involves exercising 'tough love'.

This 3 hour workshop, by RIE Associate Elsa Chahin, will consider how you can raise children with respect, kindness, and connection. She will focus on the role of the adult in assisting the child develop self-regulation, in role-modelling, emotion coaching, self-directed learning and allowing children to take risks and make mistakes, all with loving kindness and presence.

About Elsa Chahin

An in-demand speaker, writer, teacher and infant-toddler consultant, Elsa Chahin has served as a keynote speaker and presenter at over 75 national and international conferences and seminars on the topic of caring for babies with respect.

One of only two certified and accredited Pikler® Trainers in North America personally endorsed by Dr. Pikler's daughter, Anna Tardos, a child psychologist, Ms. Chahin is currently the President of the internationally renowned non-profit corporation, Pikler/Loczy USA. With extensive training in the field, Ms. Chahin, is a gifted facilitator that brings her expertise in her consulting and advisory positions to new parents and professionals.

Additional Information

The price for one workshop is S$75 per person or S$120 per couple. Please note that these are adult-only workshops. Elsa will also be speaking at a one day conference on 10 March 2018 about infant care and development organised by friends at Greentree Montessori.
