“My child does not listen to me.” “Children don't understand.” “I fail to understand my child.”

One would usually hear such remarks from parents, but children also have their own complaints against their parents. Communication forms the basis of any relationship. But as classes take up most of children's time and they prefer to spend more time on their smart devices, how can parents make room in their children’s schedules to communicate with them?

Parents are welcome to share your stories. As they share struggles, they discover more, laugh together and bond with others, inspire others and get inspired.

This session is moderated by Swapna Mirashi, a financial literacy expert and the editor of Parents eZine AIM. This is the fifth bi-monthly Parents Connect meeting, for parents with children of all ages.
