Game-making with Scratch (2 days)
Scratch is a programming language based on visuals and animation, rather than lines of code. It allows students to drag and drop programming instructions presented in visual blocks instead of typing them out.
Participants will also learn key computer science concepts such as sequences, loops, conditionals and abstraction by building a game at the end of the workshop.
Mbot (3 days)
The mBot has some of its own special Scratch blocks to help is make its way in the world.
These include;
- Making the motors run, Lighting LEDs,
- Detecting obstacles with the ultrasonic rangefinder,

There are a heap of other blocks we can use that allow us to interact with other sensors and actuators we can add to the mbot. Here is the list of blocks available.
