Conundrum provides unique, nurturing and inclusive classes, workshops, and life changing projects for children and young people aged between 5 and 25.
We believe that children learn by doing and our workshops and theatre projects empower them to develop skills in performance and theatre making, while giving them the space to be creative, express their views, learn about the world and themselves, forge long lasting friendships and devise original pieces of theatre.
Our workshops develop all aspects of performance and theatre making craft including, but not limited to, stagecraft, character development, script analysis, devising, storytelling, audition preparation, writing, physicality and exploring world issues. We play, experiment, build trust, take risks, and create tangible outcomes in the form of original theatre productions.
We provide on-demand and weekly workshops, as well as in school and in community masterclasses, intensives, and theatre making projects.
Young people who work with Conundrum not only learn how to become better actors, they also find their place to belong, develop self-confidence, build resilience, acquire social awareness, learn how to collaborate and work as an ensemble, cultivate empathy and respect for others, increase trust, and have lots of fun while doing it.
Conundrum’s alumni have worked as professional actors in film and TV, attended drama school, made their own shows, or become Drama Teachers. All have said that working with Conundrum has had a profound and lasting impact on their lives.
