The Green Collective joyously hosts Cultivate Central's Microgreens & Composting workshop November 17th 2pm to 4pm!

At Cultivate Central, we’ve made it our mission to help families get started on their earthcare journey by growing some food and composting. This workshop is designed for you to experience with your child.

First, we will show you how to grow some greens quick. From seed to plate between 7-14 days. Enjoy fresh greens without a farm. Start growing some microgreens because with very little space and experience microgreens give you healthy nutrient-packed greens at home.

The second half of the workshop will be about composting with worms. Working with worms that will help your family turn food waste into fertiliser. We will share our methods of composting with worms. Participants will create a mini worm home with their children to take home."

This is a parent child workshop.

Participants will receive:

Cultivate Central’s very own microgreens kit – fabric planter, planter base, soil mix, seeds, a how to grow microgreens guide.
Container and materials to make a mini worm home during the workshop and some composting worms.
