Have you heard? This November, the legendary musical “The Sound of Music” will make a triumphant return to Sands Theatre. A casting search is also on in Singapore for members of the famous VON TRAPP CHILDREN. Our Sound of Music Boot Camp will introduce you to classic songs from the musical such as Do, Re, Mi, and My Favourite Things! As we will be playing out scenes from the musical, it will be a mixed age camp, for ages 5 and up! No background required Students who would like us to prepare them for the audition may register for audition classes after the camp at a special rate.

Day 1

10:00am - 11:30am: Vocals
11:30am - 1:00pm Dance & Acting

Day 2

10:00am - 11:30am: Vocals
11:30am - 1:00pm Dance & Acting

Day 3

10:00am - 11:30am Video rehearsal
11:30am - 1:00pm Filming of class video

What will you learn in the camp:

Learn how to sing in tune, work on vocal techniques such as pitching, diction and musicality
Learn how actors sing in musical theatre style
A chance to grow your confidence performing in front of the camera
Learn to use facial expressions to bring out the performance of the song
There will be a small presentation at the end of the 2 days which will be captured on video for parents to view!
