Aerospace, Electrical & Environmental Engineering Sept Holiday Workshop!
4 September
- Discover what an Aerospace Engineer does, learn about the Engineering Design Process and built a bottle rocket that can jettison more than one hundred feet in the air!
- Students will investigate different components of their bottle rocket and the functionality of their real-world counterparts.
- They will have lots of fun building a large model rocket that is capable of launching using pressurized water and air.
5 September
- Learn about Environmental Engineering, the importance of recycling and the different method of sorting waste.
- Explore some of possible users of pulleys, levers and inclines planes and built your own LEGO Robotics Recycling Truck using the latest LEGO WEDO 2.0 bricks.
- Student will use the Engineering Design Process learnt in the previous day's workshop to improve on their Recycling truck's method of sorting.
6 September
- What does the Elecrtical Engineer do? Find out in this workshop.
- The Electrical Engineering workshop is designed to introduce students to the concepts of circuit design and building.
- Students will learn the inner workings of flashlight, learn how to built a simple circuit, investigate and understand the concepts of electric current.
