Solar Car Workshop (6-11 years old)

Transportation is part and parcel of our modern life but the current transportation that relies heavily on fossil fuel has caused much strain to our planet Earth. How can resolve some of the current environmental issues cause by our transportation system?

Join us as we embark on an odyssey to explore the future of transportation.

Students will:
• Identify the environmental issues caused by our current transportation system
• Brainstorm about eco-friendly transport solution for developing cities
• Learn about green vehicles
• Explore the use of solar energy for future transportation
• Design and construct a functional solar toy car.

Students will bring home the Solar Toy Car that they build during the workshop and a handout.
