Bring your whole family to the Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC) and spend family time at Families for Life picnic.

As part of NS50 celebrations, families can expect fun NS50 themed activities and games!

Activities @ Concourse and Discovery Land

Enjoy the complimentary snacks and fun bonding games at the FFL’s signature mobile café! Families will be able to DIY their own ID tag and rank insignia and experience camouflage face painting. The children will get a chance to dress in mini SAF uniforms for a family photo moment. Participate in the family bonding games and complete the game passport to redeem a SDC Limited Edition Souvenir!

Army Museum of Singapore Special Exhibition “In Commemoration of NS50”

This special exhibition explores how National Service has evolved since its inception, and pays tribute to all servicemen for their priceless contributions to ensure Singapore’s security. Visitors can also take up the challenge at the interactive stations to get a taste of the rigorous training that servicemen undergo to stay fit and mission ready.

Enjoy a fun-filled day with your family at S’pore Discovery Centre and Army Museum of Singapore with fun activities like pedal boat over Discovery Lake, 4D simulator rides, bouncy castles, fun traditional carnival games, camouflage face painting, kids sized army uniform, Individual Marksmanship Trainer (IMT) shooting and many more! And not forgetting yummy snacks too!

In celebration of 50 years of National Service, S’pore Discovery Centre will be having a coach tour with commentary by their guides to both SAFTI Military Institute and Pasir Laba Camp.

Given their significance and rich history to generations of NSmen, this rare opportunity allows NSmen to reminisce and share their memorable NS journey with their family members. Abound with unique memories and stories of National Service journey, visitors will get a rare glimpse of the SAF officers training grounds, iconic SAFTI tower, SAF Parade Square, infamous Peng Kang hill, the state-of-the-art Multi-Mission Range Complex (MMRC), the iconic Leaders Square and much more.
