Can a little squirrel change the human heart? Join Flora & Ulyses to find out
After getting sucked up by a Ulysses 2000x vacuum cleaner, an unassuming squirrel is given new life by 10-year old Flora Belle Buckman, a self-proclaimed cynic who is struggling to accept her difficult family situation. She names the squirrel Ulysses and discovers that he has gained superhero powers! No longer an average squirrel, the mighty Ulysses can now understand Flora, fly through the air, and even write poetry... A friendship is born between the unlikely pair, and together they embark on a heart-filled journey full of quirky characters, giant donuts, a killer cat and the ever-expanding universe.
This endearing saga about the possibilities of hope, and the promises of a capacious heart, proves that the world is indeed more beautiful when you believe a squirrel can type poetry.
Flora & Ulysses is the phenomenal show based on the Newbery Medal award-winning book by Kate DiCamillo, the #1 New York Times best-selling author of The Tale of Desperaux, and The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.
