Join us in this beginner-friendly chess workshop!
Learn how to play chess in this beginner-friendly hands-on chess workshop! This session will be conducted by students from Victoria Junior College Strategic Games Club. Participants will be taught some basic checkmates, spotting checkmates, and other strategies, then try the game for themselves under the guidance of our student trainers!
The 11 Jan 2025 session will cover International Chess while the 15 Mar 2025 session will cover Chinese Chess. Both types of chess will be available for participants to try their hand at playing after the student trainers’ sharing.
