Keen to level up your climbing?
The SNCS Sport Climbing Level 2 course is an intermediate 2 days certification course for participants who would like to learn how to lead climb and lead belay. This course builds on the top-rope skills acquired from SNCS Sport Climbing Level 1 and teaches a progression into lead climbing on sport climbing walls.
Participants of this course should be confident in all the techniques covered in the SNCS Sport Climbing Level 1 course before undertaking this more advanced level. Climbers should be able to confidently climb a 6A or 6A+ on top rope, and has been belaying and climbing regularly for at least the past 6 months
SNCS Sport Climbing Level 2 participants will be introduced to
- lead climbing and techniques
- safety equipment required for lead climbing including care, maintenance and limitations
- safety knots
- belaying a lead climber with a friction device
- top-out techniques
All our SNCS Sport Climbing Level 2 instructors are certified by Singapore Mountaineering Federation. There will be an assessment and course review at the end. Participants who successfully pass the course will be issued with the SNCS Sport Climbing Level 2 certificate accredited by the Singapore Mountaineering Federation.
Participants will receive a 1-for-1 pass voucher and a discount beginner bundle voucher with harness, chalkbag and chalkball!

- Only 13 years old or older may participate
- Participants under 21 years old require a guardian to sign on their behalf
- Please sign the waiver form online once you have registered successfully
- Please be ready 15 minutes before course commences
