This workshop is suitable for children aged 7 -16 who are interested to learn computing in a creative environment. It will draw upon their creativity and imagination while learning new programming concepts which are applied to the projects they develop.

What is Minecraft?

Minecraft was created in the Java programming language. Players explore a blocky 3D world to discover and extract raw materials, craft tools, build structures and fight computer-controlled Mobs.

Minecraft: Education is a game-based learning platform that promotes creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in an immersive digital environment. It provides endless opportunities for exploration, storytelling and digital learning.
