Jana Yar is an award-winning family and lifestyle photographer based in Singapore.
You can see her photos in magazines and blogs all over Asia. Being a commercial photographer, she stumbled into family photography only after she became a mom herself.
She loves capturing kids and families in fun and natural setting. Her style is artistic, emotive, soft and warm. She likes working with natural light and my favourite atmosphere to capture in photos is a warm, late afternoon with hazy sunshine - you can't beat that!"
Her work has been showcased in a number of exhibitions in Asia and Europe, receiving 2nd place by public vote at the KL Photo Awards, Malaysia; 1st place at the Off Festival, Slovakia; 2nd place for the Julia Margaret Cameron prize for women photographers at the WPGA (UK) Annual contest; and she was a Renaissance Photography Finalist.
