Jiggle Wigs is a fun and exciting music, movement and PE class for babies and toddlers. Come along for a fun filled class of dancing, movement with scarves, shakers, balls and hoops, beanbags, bubbles and more!

These classes give your child a new opportunity to work towards their physical and cognitive developmental milestones in a safe and nurturing environment.

The songs and the props provided by the class leader encourage the children to practise all sorts of skills which are the foundation for future learning.

Listening and paying attention to someone singing and copying the actions will improve focus.
Familiarisation with the songs as the class revisit certain music from week to week will aid language development.
The routine of tidying up as well as sharing the props and transitioning between activities will foster important social and emotional skills.
The props themselves are chosen carefully for their ability to allow the child to explore freely and creatively whilst working on their fine motor skills.
Most importantly, if the child is allowed to lead the exploration with the help of an interested and enthusiastic adult then they will stay engaged for longer than if the activity was chosen for them. This self directed learning will improve the child's inner motivation and drive.

The creativity of children when they interact with the props continually amazes! Who knew that beanbags could be a tightrope or a scarf could turn you into a superhero?!
