It's time to hang a lantern, enjoy a mooncake and peel a pomelo as Mid-Autumn Festival is coming!
From 17 September to 3 October, Jurong Lake Gardens will be presenting a series of interactive online and onsite programmes, bringing good cheer as we continue adjusting to life in the new normal!
On 21 September, join us online to relax and unwind with Music Under the Moonlight 2021. Homegrown artistes The Freshman, Flame of the Forest and Dawn Wong will be performing an exciting curation of music while you and your loved ones savour mooncakes and tea from the comfort of your home.
Be captivated by the sunset as our guides share fun facts about the flora and fauna in the Gardens on our Sunset Walks. Tour slots are limited. Fastest fingers first!
Mid-Autumn Festival Light-up
- Date: 17 September to 3 October 2021
From 17 September to 3 October, various sections of the garden will be lit up between 7pm to 11pm daily. Enjoy the walk through the Gardens with trees aglow, as we continue the traditions of Mid-Autumn Festival with the light-up!
Keep to group sizes of no more than 5 persons, always wear a mask and observe a safe distance of at least one metre from other visitors.
Music under the Moonlight 2021 (Online Concert)

Music fans will be treated to an exciting online concert by our talented homegrown artistes, The Freshman, Flame of the Forest and Dawn Wong. Let them nourish your soul with mesmerising melodies in this hour-long concert!
Sunset Walk
Join us for a specially curated tour of Jurong Lake Gardens this Mid-Autumn Festival! While immersing in the beauty of the sunset, our guides will introduce the different species of flora and fauna in the Gardens.

Online Bazaar in the Garden (Mid-Autumn Festival Edition)
In this special edition of Bazaar In the Garden (BIG), there will be a series of fun-filled, Mid-Autumn themed crafts and educational activities for everyone to enjoy.

Riddle Guessing Session by Riddle Association (Singapore) and Lakelife Residents' Network, 19 September 2021, 3.30pm (Presented in Mandarin)
Mid-Autumn Festival is not just about admiring the moon, eating mooncakes and lifting of lanterns. One interesting culture of Mid-Autumn Festival is the guessing of lantern riddles where adults and children can participate together in this callenging and fun activity. Conducted by Teacher Huang Zhenxin from the Riddle Association (Singapore). This session will introduce the basic understanding of concept on how to solve a riddle as well as to engage in a mini challenge of solving riddles together in an online session.
Children’s Craft and Riddles @ Jurong Lake Gardens, 19 September 2021, 5pm
Have you ever wondered how to make your own lantern? Join us and learn how to create your very own lantern for the Mid Autumn Festival!
We have prepared 2 lantern crafts with different difficulty levels. Younger children of ages 7 to 9 will learn how to create lanterns from recycled plastic bottles while older children of ages 10 to 12 will have a hand at making a traditional lantern. Additionally, there will be fun and intriguing riddles about the plants and animals found in the Jurong Lake Gardens!
