Introduce your child to the wonderful and amazing world of science! In this program, Scientists and Explorers will engage in fun, hands-on learning actitivites that are sure to bring smiles to their faces.

Dinosaur Discovery

Explore the wonders of prehistoric life with hands-on activities that promise learning, discovery and fun! Junior palanteologists will have loads of fun:

Learning about the most extraordinary dinosaurs to walk the Earth
Exploring dinosaur habitats 65 million years agi
Learning about excavation and participating in their very own dino dig
Seeing real fossils from KDW's permanent collection including a 100-million year old Spinosaurus tooth
Making theirr own dinosaur fossils and more!
Once Upon a Time

This module harnesses the power of beloved children's stories such as Humpty Dumpty, The Princess & the Pea, and Hansel & Gretel to introduce Engineers to basic scientific principles and engineering concepts used in aeronautical, civil, environmental and mechanical engineering.

Your child will have loads of fun:

Experimenting with air pressure to get Humpty to the hospital
Harnessing potential and kinetic energy for Little Red Riding Hood
Learning about electricity and cicuits with Hnasel & Gretel

Superhero Science

S.H.I.E.L.D Agents will gain exposure to both the scientific method and the engineering design process, and learn fundamental principles and concepts used in the natural sciences and civil, mechanical and chemical engineering.

Junior C.S.I

Who doesn't love a good mystery? In this forensic science unit, our junior C.S.Is will try their hand at scientific crime-solving and learn all about fingerprinting techniques, DNA sample testing, crime scene processing and more! Junior C.S.Is will have an opportunity to develop theirr skills of observation, problem solving, communication, critical thinking and collaboration.

Your child will have a ton of fun learning about:

Fingerprints and their role in crime-solving
Footprints and their relation to a person's height Chromatography and how different inks have different properties
How forensic chemists identify mysterious unknown substances and more!

Masters of Invention

Explore the life and times of the world's greatest scientific minds. In this camp kdis will discover the greatest inventions and achievements of two giants of science, Leonardo da Vinci and Galileo Galilei.

You child will have a ton of fun:

Exploring aerodynamics through Leonardo's famous flying machines and trying their won hands at creating and improving upon Leonardo's designs!
Learning about the forces thta act on bridges and constructing Leonardo's famous self-supporting bridge
Designing and building siege machines and weapons
Building a telescope like Galileo!
