- Mr Quek Jee Ngee
Director, LCCL Coding Academy
Jee Ngee has been involved in financial technology and data science for over 25 years. Starting his career in GIC, he helmed its first quantitative investment unit, which developed market trading models. He also headed the knowledge management unit in GIC, and was a seed investor in the learning management system AsknLearn.com. He is presently an advisor at Octagon Capital (a quantitative equity hedge fund), as well as actively involved in several start up businesses.
- Ms Juliana Ung
Founder and Educator, LCCL Coding Academy
Juliana was an IDA (now IMDA) scholar with a BComp (Hons) in Computer Science from the School of Computing, NUS. She founded The Kid Coders in 2012 (now LCCL Coding Academy) and has taught and trained hundreds of students the areas of IT, coding and computational thinking. Juliana's frequent interaction with learners of all ages lends her an insight to the state of current education and the ways it can be improved in light of an increasingly tech driven future economy.
- You
You have unique life experience. You may or may not be familiar with technological disruptions, but either way, have already been, still, and will be affected by them. Like everyone else, you had no choice but to adopt e-mail over telegrams, digital over film cameras, smart phones over dial phones, and soon, self-driving cars over taxis, and digital wallets over cash. You sense that the changes are evolving at a faster rate now than ever. You are keen to explore what the future holds for your child. You have questions and are open for dialogue.
Registration to this session includes complimentary trial class for children.
