Learning Horizon presents to you a series of Weekend Programs starting from the month of September at Pat's Schoolhouse @ Liang Court!

Art Blast!

Unleash your child’s creativity! Join in fun & totally awesome canvas painting workshop. Learn how to speak to the canvas in this workshop that shows your child how to let their minds and not hands create art. The Art Blast sessions are a wonderful way for your child to spend the school holiday weekend with friends, making a mess and having a laugh.

Class Format: 2 hours to paint and design a 30 x 40 cm canvas. All art supplies for use during the workshop will be provided.
Duration: 2 sessions (2 & 9 September)
Time: 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm
Age group: Suitable for children aged 5 to 12

Dance Fit Club

Learning Horizon presents a unique dance club for all those little feet to get the apt training at the right age. Boys & girls from 5 years and up will definitely find a groove to suit! Let your child have fun, dance to their favourite K-Pop songs and get fit through Zumba at the same time! Classes feature age-appropriate music and gets children moving to the beat.

Class Format: Each session will start with a warm-up exercise routine for first 5 minutes. For the next 35 minutes the kids will be taught a choreographed dance routine on the latest K Pop numbers & Zumba dance routines The session will end with a 5 minute cool down.
Duration: 12 sessions consisting of 6 K Pop classes & 6 classes of Zumba, every Saturday, 2 Sep to 18 Nov
Time: 4.30 pm to 5.30 pm
Age group: Suitable for children aged 5 to 11

Play.Learn.Invent (Strawbees Workshop)

Strawbees is an award-winning prototype toy. It is a kit based on simple units called Strawbees that lets children connect straws and build small to huge mechanical objects from just straws and connectors. It stimulates the imagination and encourages creativity. With Strawbees, children can modify their model as they go along, add straws, cut straws or add new connections to get a sturdier, more flexible or bigger structure.

Duration: 10 sessions, every Saturday, 16 Sep to 18 Nov
Time: 2.00 pm to 3.00 pm
Age group: Suitable for children aged 5 & 6

Math & Chess Workshop

Math & Chess is a unique & holistic workshop that combines Mathematical concepts with fun chess games. Children will get to learn 2 great concepts fused into one great workshop!

Duration: 8 sessions, every Saturday, 16 Sep to 4 Nov
Time: 3.15 pm to 4.15 pm
Age group: Suitable for children aged 5 & 6

Strike A Pose! (Parent-Child Yoga sessions)

Tone up muscles and calm your minds with learning simple stretches for two. Yoga can help children learn techniques for relaxation, frustration and anger management. It also helps in handling stress and anxiety. Physically, it develops better flexibility, strength, coordination and body awareness. Join for a therapeutic parent-child bonding session that promises to energise both the body and mind!
