The September Holidays are coming and Learning Srpouts is launching a special enrichment programme for children - The Orff Musical Series!

Orff for Kids Music Playgroup

Grade 1 (9 months - 1 year old)

Boosting physical development through music!

When: 6 Sept, 4.30pm - 5.30pm

Grade 2 (2 years old)

Learning the sol-fa syllables through colours!

When: 5 Sept, 4.30pm - 5.30pm

Orff for Kids Music Class

Grade 3 (3 - 6 years old)

Imrpoving rhythm, focus and teamwork through ensemble.

When: 8 Sept, 4.30pm - 5.30pm

Orff Special Programmes

Guji Guji Music Story (2 - 6 years old)

Conducted in Mandarin

Storytelling the untraditional way - with beats and moves.

When: 7 Sept, 4.30pm - 5.30pm

Happy Farmer Series (3 - 6 years old)

Sing, storytell, dance and perform on a journey of an imaginary farm.

When: 5-8 Sept, 2pm - 4pm & 9 Sept, 10.00am - 12 noon

About Orff Music Series

Carl Orff was a German composer and a music educationalist that developed The Orff Approach in the 20th century. Its core principle is ‘Learning music through experience‘. Children acquire musical concepts in a creative manner by playing percussion instruments, learning rhymes, chanting, singing, movement, dancing, ensemble playing and improvisation.

Instructors

Instructor: Maggie Ho (Ms Ho Ho)

With over 10 years of experience in teaching eary childhood music, Ms HoHo is a leading Orff educator in Hong Kong. She has a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree in Music (majored in Music Education) from Hong Kong Baptist University, and completed Orff-Schulwerk Teacher Training Course Levels 1 to 3 in the US and Canada

Instructor: AniDa Chan (Ms Da Da)

Ms Da Da is a passionate and all-round Hong Kong and Taiwan musician. As an independent singer-songwriter, she has been invited to work as a music director, a songwriter and a singer for local musical theatres. She graduated from the Department of Psychology of The Chinese University of Hong Kong and passed ABRSM Piano Grade 8 Exam and Trinity College London Rock & Pop Keyboard Grade 8 Exam. She completed Orff-Schulwerk Teacher Training Course Levels 2 in Australia and an UK Accent on Orff workshop in the UK.
