Portfolio Preparation for Art Institutes in Singapore
The Visual Arts Portfolio Program is specially designed to support students aspiring to join an art school (SOTA), College or University for Fine Arts, Design, Architecture or related fields.
It also adds value to any college application for students aspiring to fields beyond art, for example engineering or medicine, as the best colleges prefer multi-talented students.
Students in this program are guided on different ways to plan and work on their portfolio right up to final submission. All programs are personalised based on the college the student is applying to and the entry level skills required. This is a holistic program that ensures that the student develops creatively and technically, while also exhibiting his/her best abilities to the selection committee.
Note: Students are expected to have basic sketching and paintings skills and be able to work independently. Specialist guidance is provided by the Teacher(s), but the student creates his/her works of art. Parents are updated regularly on the student’s progress.
Our aim is that alongside an understanding of proper art portfolio preparation each student gains enough exposure and confidence in painting, sketching, sculpting, printmaking, and Media Arts to be able to perform well in any of the TOP schools and universities around the world.
The preparation for SOTA and colleges and universities that students need
In the course of preparing their individualized portfolio, each student gains preparation for SOTA and/or enough exposure and confidence in painting, sketching, and sculpting to be able to perform well in any of the top Colleges and Universities around the world. Students from Little Artists Art Studio are regularly admitted to SOTA, LASALLE, NAFA, NUS, NTU, and top-ranked universities and art institutes throughout Singapore , the US, the UK, and Australia. Some want to pursue art professionally while others have entered highly competitive fields where focus, dedication, confidence, creativity and steady hands are the assets that help distinguish them from other Business/Engineering candidates.

How to get there?
The nearest MRT Stations are Bedok MRT/Bus Interchange & Eunos Station, both on the Green East-West Line. Both have buses which will drop you off directly outside Mandarin Gardens in five minutes. From Eunos #55 Bus. From Bedok: #16, 196, 197, and 31.
To go to Siglap from Bedok MRT/Bus Interchange Station take buses: #10, 12, 14 & 16.
To go to Siglap from Eunos MRT Station take buses: #13, 14 & 55.
