Discover an alternate way of documenting precious family moments and interacting with artefacts on display by expressing delightful scenes with just pen and paper.
Bring home with you more than the memory of a fun trip down to the museum, but your very own work of art!
Prerequisites are a sense of curiosity and a willing spirit of experimentation. No former drawing experience required.
What to expect:
- Learn how to practice visually scanning a room for points of interest
- Translate what your eyes and mind are captivated by into an inspired observational piece of drawing with your hand
- Learn quick sketching techniques of plotting perspectives and transforming shapes into objects
- At the end of the session, we’ll lay all participants’ illustrations down on the ground to enjoy and admire everyone’s unique sense of individuality and creative expression
Please feel free to stay on and sketch more, if so inspired, after the session is over!
Simple drawing materials will be provided, although we’d like to recommend bringing your own for the most comfortable experience!

By MRT:
Alight at Bugis (EW12) station. MHC is about 10 minutes walk from the train station.

Carpark Facilities:
If you are driving, you can park your vehicles at the public carparks along Aliwal Street, Kandahar Street and Pahang Street or at the multi-storey carparks at Textile Centre and Sultan Plaza. Parking charges are applicable.
