We are grounded in the belief that every individual with special needs has innate talents and strengths to be nurtured. We provide a continuum of programmes and services to optimise their outcomes and quality of life.
Our Beginnings
Forged by a commitment to provide equal opportunities for every individual with special needs, MINDS was founded by a group of philanthropists to provide education for children with intellectual disabilities. Starting with just 26 children in a classroom in 1962, MINDS has since grown to be one of the largest and oldest social service agencies caring for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
The Journey to Inclusivity
Our commitment and vision to bring out the best in every individual with special needs permeate all that we do. By providing education, training, care, and sustainable job creation, we empower persons with special needs and their families, enabling them to pursue their aspirations.
