Tang Yuan Making
Did You Know? Tang Yuan (汤圆) symbolizes reunion, and they are traditionally consumed during the Dongzhi Festival, which is also a time for the family to get together!
Ketupat Handicraft
Did you know? Local stories passed down through the generations have attributed the creation of this style of rice preparation to the seafarers’ need to keep cooked rice from spoiling during long sea voyages!
Rangoli Coloring
Did You Know? The purpose of rangoli is decoration, and it is thought to bring good luck. Design depictions may also vary as they reflect traditions, folklore and practices that are unique to each area.
Traditional snacks will be provided at each Zone. Yummy!
Activities are suitable for age 18 months to 6 years old.
Some parental assistance may be required for younger children.
