Pets’ Day Out (PDO) returns to HortPark on 21 September for another day of fur and fun with a special junior edition!

Need ideas on how to instill responsibility in children to care for their pet, or tips before bringing a new furry member home? Then bring your kids along to PDO where they can learn basic pet care through role-playing games and activities at our Petzmania programme. Suitable for kids aged 7 – 14, they can be a junior vet, groomer, or trainer for a day!

Pre-registration* is required for this free programme.

There are other pet-friendly activities for all ages too! Say “hi” to the animals up for adoption from the Animal Welfare Groups and chat with their volunteers, interact and take photos with the colourful parrots of BirdCraze, and get your shopping fix at the pet retail bazaar. You can also bring your pet to the free pet health check-up and micro-chipping sessions** by vets from the Animal and Veterinary Service.

Pet’s Day Out is held together with our signature monthly event Gardeners’ Day Out (GDO). Familiar GDO favourites such as the Marketplace, free talks and demonstrations, free garden tours of HortPark, and kids’ activities will still be available.
