To welcome the festive season, NUS Piano Ensemble proudly presents Melodias 2019, a concert showcasing festive and Christmas-themed pieces
We will be presenting several movements of The Seasons by Tchaikovsky for four hands. The chosen movements, January, March, April, May, September and October showcase a myriad of unique soundscapes and musical imagery.
As we move through the months, the performers highlight the passing of time and the changing seasons, providing the audience with a sensory experience of the seasons we do not have the geographical fortune of experiencing in Singapore.
NUS Piano Ensemble will also be performing a selection of Christmas-themed pieces by D’Indy and Liszt to leave you feeling ready to celebrate Christmas!
