The Last Gap traces the February 1942 battle that was fought on the former Pasir Panjang Ridge, which is now the NUS Kent Ridge campus.
Guests will be guided through various sites that mark the final battle, before the Allied surrender and occupation by Japanese forces. This participatory learning journey invites audiences to reconsider and reclaim the ‘war memory’, and its meaning for themselves.
The Last Gap is a unique 2-hour programme and is commissioned by NUS CFA for Singapore’s Bicentennial year. As a gift to the nation, admission to this production will be free with ticket registration.
