Based on the fable story of Mr. Dong Guo and the Wolf Presented by Paper Monkey Theatre
In the late ‘Spring-Autumn Period’, there was an official named Zhao Jianzi from Jin Guo. During one of his hunting trips, he chanced upon a wolf which he quickly shot with his bow and arrow. However the wolf survived and managed to flee with despite its wound. On its run, the wolf met a kind scholar by the name of Dong Guo, whom the wolf pleaded with to save its life. Moved by the wolf’s words, Dong Guo helped the wolf by hiding it in his sack and put Jianzi on the wrong path when Dong Guo was asked about the location of the wolf. However instead of thanking Dong Guo, the wolf tried to eat Dong Guo in return! How will Dong Guo be able to avert this crisis and handle this situation?
