This nature and science-learning centric programme consists of the Biodiversity Walk.

Nothing beats going out into nature and observing marine animals in their habitat! Participants will be able to walk the intertidal regions in Singapore and learn about our vast biodiversity! They will have a glimpse of what it would be like to be a marine ecologist for a day!

About the trainer/instructor, Young Nautilus

Founded by educators equipped with degrees in Life Science and Marine Biology in 2015, Young Nautilus is an education enrichment partner for schools and families that provide science inquiry-based learning journeys. By fostering a deeper understanding of the world and the dynamic changes that shape it, Young Nautilus enriches what are taught in the MOE syllabus. Most importantly, as their learning catalyst, the educators are equipped with the pedagogy skills required to inspire participants’ learning through application and inquiry-based activities. Young Nautilus was awarded with Kids World’s Best Learning Journey Enrichment Excellence award in 2018 and engaged a total of 93 schools and organisation in year 2019. Via Nature Walks catered mainly for families and children, a total of 1307 members of public also explored our local biodiversity under Young Nautilus’ public learning programmes.
