Join Sophia Huang, local author of the Nature Playtime Series, on an adventure with Emma and Popo to discover the simple joys of playing outdoors through story telling and a fun, hands-on crafting session. This storytelling event brings children aged 4 to 10 back to the good old days, when children played with whatever they could find, such as rocks, seeds and leaves.
About Sophia Huang
Sophia Huang is a copyeditor by trade and a mother of two. She began her career in journalism at the Today newspaper, where she worked as a sub-editor and at the foreign desk. This series is her first foray into writing for a young audience. Sophia believes that children should go outdoors as much as possible and learning is best done through play. She is passionate about upcycling trash into creative toys and art for children.
