Psychedelic Zebra Brushes

Children will be challenged by intricate details and meticulous blending as they learn to paint a zebra realistically in three different styles. They will use a variety of different brushes and learn about the expressive potential of different bristles. Expect to encounter special fluorescent paints and fancy painting mediums like extenders (acrylic polymer base with no pigment added).

Enter the fantasy world that Taiwanese illustrator, Jimmy Liao, weaves with his imagination. You will replicate his fragile watercolours with careful and delicate blending of acrylic paints on canvas. Personalise it by including a self-caricature smack in the middle of this enchanting forest scene.

Birds of Paradise with special Liquid Rainbow Paints

Vibrant bird friends in the colorful wildlife.This is utterly different from conventional painting, as you will be using magical Liquid Rainbow paints. These paints are translucent and lets sunlight shine through them! Children will also spend time preparing and planning their design template first.

American painter Carolee Clark has a lot of bold ideas and translates them into bold and beautiful paints. Through this workshop, children can learn about acrylic painting and modeling still life forms, yet retain a playful manner in painting. Correct brush usage, acrylic paint techniques and colour theory will be taught.
