Baking is an engaging activity that every family member can be a part of, helping to increase family cohesion, provide teachable moments, create everlasting memories, and foster mutual appreciation.
From picking out recipes to grocery planning; and getting the confectioneries hot out of the oven – baking together is a wonderful time to connect with your family. where everyone from grandparents to children are able to bond and appreciate each other's contribution for the entire process.
With families eating out or buying home sweet treats, eating as a family has declined, as has taking the time to prepare and savour your own home-baked confectioneries. Work together on a baking adventure and reinforce existing relationships to increase trust and communication.
