Family Arts Festival

Ignite imagination, inspire creativity and embark on the arts discovery journey! Get ready to experience a line-up of multisensory arts & crafts workshop at SAFRA Punggol as they create opportunities for parent and child bonding through arts and stimulate young minds in fun and enjoyable ways.

Nature Playtime Learning

Discover the simple joy of nature through games, crafts and activities at the various Nature Playtime Learning booths. It is time to express your child’s creativity, learn about resourcefulness and exercise problem solving!

Nature Playtime aims to nurture the love for learning in your child with exciting hands-on activities and games. There will be learning activities for young children (3–12 years old) to satisfy their curiosity and understand the natural world by introducing botanical plants and interesting fun facts through learning and play.

Your little ones will be participating in all four stations:

Art of Nature: Seed Craft

This Seed art and craft activity allows participants to express their creativity using commonly found household food items.

Games of Nature: Pick Up Twigs and Flick and Hit a Seed

This activity involves two old school games, using very simple materials that can be found in the great outdoors: twigs and seeds.

Participant will be given 15 minutes to learn and play each game. The child with the most number of seeds and twigs at the end of the game will be given a prize; and the rest of the participants will be given a consolation prize.

Building with Nature: Titter Totter Bamboo Blocks

Exercise problem solving and creativity with the Hape Totter Tower blocks made out of bamboo. Each piece is a hollow ring cut at different angles from bamboo shoots. Participants can learn fine motor skills, thinking out of the box and work as a team.

Saving Nature: Upcycled Magazines Basket Weaving

Learn how to turn old magazines into useful paper baskets. This introduces the concept of upcycling – injecting new life into items that are usually thrown away. They will also learn that resources are finite – and the importance of conserving and reusing them.

Each station will have approximately 15 participants and will be given 30 minutes to complete each stations.

Let’s Make Charms by Bakers Club

Let your creativity flow by creating your own special charm for that special someone with that design you have been thinking! The designs range from Hello Kitty to Pokemon and many more! This workshop will be completed within 30 minutes per child.
