Sentosa turns 47 this September, and we’re throwing a big birthday bash!

 

From 1 September to 20 October, Merlion Plaza and Merlion Walk transform into a mini carnival complete with arcade game booths where you can win limited edition Sentosa merchandise, interactive photo points and roving musicians. Also, don’t forget to catch a very special edition of Merlion Magic Lights.

Merlion Magic Lights

A compilation show of Sentosa's Merlion Magic Lights will be up and running during the National Day festive period to entertain our guests on island.

Magic Lights Timing:

  • 7:45pm-8:05pm
  • 8:20pm-8:40pm
  • 8:55pm-9:15pm
  • 9:30pm-9:45pm

Performances

Msukumo

  • 3 sets of 30mins daily (12pm, 2pm, 4pm)

Roving percussions where they will create beautiful pieces with drums, beats and rhythm.

Ireson Latin Band

  • 3 sets of 30mins every weekend (4.30pm, 5.45pm, 7pm)

Mexican pianist and composer Alina Ramirez and bassist, guitarist, composer and arranger Mario Lopez founded Ireson in 1991. Incorporating their formal classical training and knowledge of modern harmony, Ireson explores afro-latin rhythms and brings a new unique sound by blending tradition with contemporary styles. Currently the band’s line-up includes Moises Olivera on drums, Timbal on percussion and Josse Manuel Chemaney on vocals.

Circus in Motion

  • 2 -  6 September 2019
  • 3 sets of 30mins (5pm, 6pm, 7pm)

Multi-talented busker Jay Che will leave your jaw hanging with his extensive library of tricks up his sleeve! Jay's line-up promises his fast paced devil-stick theatrics, signature crystal ball act, and mind-boggling handcuff escape act. If that isn't enough, Jay's grand finale where he defies gravity by juggling three razor sharp knives perched on top of his Rolla Bola tower, will end things off with a bang! So fasten your seat belts and get ready to be taken for a ride!

Puppet Show

  • 9 -  13 September 2019
  • 3 sets of 30mins (5pm, 6pm, 7pm)

Streets of Singapore! Is an out-of-the-box marionette puppetry performance with a unique local flavour. It showcases an impressive cast of unique characters from four main ethnic group, including Chinese singers, Peranakandancers and even Bollywood dancers to cheer and entertain their way into youe hearts.

How to get there?

By Cable Car:

Get into Sentosa by Cable Car and you will be rewarded with an aerial overview of the Island including Resorts World Sentosa and Universal Studios, Singapore’s City skyline and Harbour. The best mode of transport into the island takes you directly to the attractions hub of Sentosa: Imbiah Lookout. Alight and be ready to kick-start your Sentosa journey with 11 attractions to choose from at Imbiah Lookout.

To get here, alight at Harbourfront MRT and take Exit B (Harbourfront Centre). Follow directional signs leading to Singapore Cable Car station at Harbourfront Tower II. Double the pleasure as your ticket gains you admission into Sentosa, as well as Asia’s First Cable Car Museum.

By MRT:

Take the North-East Line or Circle Line and alight at the HarbourFront Station. From there, you may either take the Sentosa Express located at the 3rd level of VivoCity shopping mall (Lobby L), or take a leisurely stroll down along the Sentosa Boardwalk into Sentosa. Train fares vary.
 

By Sentosa Express:

The Sentosa Express, located at VivoCity (Lobby L, Level 3), provides easy access to Sentosa, HarbourFront Center.

By Shuttle Bus from Beach Station to Vivo City (One - Way Out of Sentosa)

Every Friday - Sunday and Public Holidays 6pm to 9pm (last bus from Beach Station at 9pm) 

By Public Buses:

Take a bus and alight along Telok Blangah Road. From there, you may either take the Sentosa Express located at the 3rd level of VivoCity shopping mall (Lobby L), or take a leisurely stroll along the Sentosa Boardwalk into Sentosa.
