From 1 - 16 September 2018, Sentosa Sandsation, Southeast Asia’s biggest sand festival, returns bigger and better in a never-before seen MARVEL Edition! Beyond Sentosa Sandsation, don't miss out on a plethora of MARVEL themed activities that are set to bring out the Super Hero in you, as well as sand sculpting workshops for kids aged five and above. Stay on after sunset to unwind and relax under the stars with Movies by the Beach too! Admission to the event is free.
Sentosa Sandsation: MARVEL Edition

Sculpted by the internationally-acclaimed JOOheng Tan and his team of international sand sculptors, Sentosa Sandsation: MARVEL Edition will feature popular MARVEL icons from the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy and more (including Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk and other Super Heroes) as 15 larger-than-life sand sculptures!
In addition, 14 of the world’s best sand sculptors will also face off against one another in the Sentosa International Sand Sculpting Championship! This year's championship is themed around MARVEL, and the best sand sculptor will walk away with the Golden Shovel Award!
So head down to Sentosa this September and catch the sand sculptures in all their glory!
MARVEL Themed Activities

To complement the sand sculptures of the iconic Super Heroes, they have also assembled an array of interactive MARVEL themed activities that will allow you to showcase your very own super powers!
- Hulk Smash
Are you stronger than Hulk? Do the Hulk Smash, and watch the ground break and tremor according to the intensity of your smash.
- Freeze Frame
Every Super Hero has that signature move and end pose. Strike the coolest pose and show off your Super Hero moves in 180-degree video booth!
- Hero Action Centre
Which MARVEL superhero are you? Discover your Super Hero destiny at Hero Action Centre!
Sand Sculpting Workshops
- 1 - 16 September 2018 / 11am, 2pm, 5pm / Siloso Beach
Let your kids learn how to create their very own sand sculptures from master sand sculptors! Specially designed for kids aged 5 years and above, a demonstration will be provided by a master sand sculptor, before the kids are allowed to "let loose" and create their very own masterpieces!
Registration for the workshops is free! Limited seats available per session. Register early to avoid disappointment. Register for the workshop at Siloso Beach from 1-16 September, 10am - 5pm. This is a rain or shine event.
